Back to School-Registration Information
Good afternoon Arickaree Parents,
The Arickaree Board of Education and administration would like to formally announce we will be starting school one week later than our original start date. We will begin classes August 24, 2020. There are several factors that went into this decision including some additional training needs due to COVID-19, installation of new technology, as well as plumbing issues within the building.
Registration this year will be slightly different. Registration packets for new and returning students may be picked up in the office beginning August 3- August 6 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. We will hold registration for students August 11-13 by last initial. Students with last initials A-H will register August 11th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, students with the last initials I-P will register August 12th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and student with the last initials Q-Z will register August 13th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please pick up and fill out registration packets prior to those registration dates if at all possible.
Again, the Washington County superintendents are continuing to work on our reopening plan for students and staff to return to in-person learning as safely as possible. Arickaree will offer a distance learning option to all parents and students who do not feel comfortable coming back to campus this fall so please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to explore this option.
I hope you are having a great summer and look forward to visiting with you soon.
