Veterans Day
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Veterans Day event took place virtually for the first time, and was a new experience for the Veteran's, their families and also the students of Arickaree School. The entire experience was recorded, and the recordings were sent out to the veterans by email. The video that was created by the sophomore class was posted on Facebook and the link for it is on the school website. The video starts out by thanking the veterans, and then describes the flag folding and what the folds mean, and then it talks about the history of the military branches. The sophomores also made a sign for the veterans and took pictures of all of the different classes in the school with the poster to put in the video. Though it has been a strange year, we wanted to still give honor to out veterans.
